Gwen Fox

About Gwen

Hi my name is Gwen Fox I’ve been doing art since I was a child. I’ve been to Telford College three times studying metal sculpture and painting, also hair-dressing where I was taught by 5-colour trophy winners in hair. I was taught by Julie McCran, Leith artist.

I’ve built sensory gardens for the blind school with the Prince’s trust, I love environmental art and I’ve been living in the nearby village of Newhaven for the last 17 years. It’s so inspiring to be beside the sea and the harbour. A lot of artists go to take pictures and to paint. I love my wee Newhaven; I grew up round there and in Trinity where I lived for 11 years with my family.

I want to thank all the people that have encouraged me to do this display of my work.

Many thanks Gwen
